Single dads on the tele
Outline Productions is currently producing a major new series for Channel 4 about parenting.
Presented by Jo Frost of Supernanny fame, her aim is to find the truth behind the headlines – are British children really that badly behaved, unhealthy and unhappy? This show is not about giving kids in to trouble or showing them as all bad – it’s about getting children who are having problems together with their parents to find solutions.
I am trying to find some single dads and their kids who need help to take part and wondered if any of your members are in this position or know someone who is. We can tackle a full range of issues from addiction to computer games to fussy eating to more serious topics like violence. We have lots of interest from single Mums but Dads seem shyer and it’s important for us to represent a cross section of the population.
