YOUR CHANCE TO ENTER THE WORLD WEEPING CHAMPIONSHIP - jointly sponsored by Nurofen and Durex.
How long has your baby/toddler/kid screamed for, without stopping, preferably in public? Add your reply and see if you're the (un)lucky winner. The first prize is a pack of 'Quies' - Protection Auditive Earplugs as it says on the label.
The truth is that I have developed a complete immunity to that look of death you get from the childless when your progeny is kicking off in a public place. Many is the happy time I have bodily restrained the wailing youngsters and frog marched them out of the restaurant/shop/wherever. Though on one particularly amusing occasion I do remember being the subject of some well-meaning passer-by concern as Bonnie was shouting "No, no! Help me, help me, get him away!". Ahh, happy days...
taking the older one to school today and had olivia the nearly 2 year old with us, anyway olivia carried emma,s lunchbox to the school gate where emma had to take it off her to go into school. Olivia wasn't happy and decided to have an almighty tantrum there on the pavement kicking legs in the air and screaming and drawing attention to herself. i reacted like any good dad would do and left her there! after a while and chatting to other parents she got up, walked over and asked for a cuddle! she really is a wee angel........NOT!
